This policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit the SOILSTICE website, contact the project team or subscribe to our newsletter.

Who we are

The SOILSTICE project website is managed by REVOLVE MEDIA. SOILSTICE brings citizens, municipalities and land managers together to protect and restore soil through local agreements. The project is funded by the European Union under Grant Agreement No. 101297028.

Information you provide

The newsletter form asks for your first name, last name, email address and country. You may also provide your job title, organisation name and organisation type. If you contact us by email, we receive your address and the information included in your message.

Submitting a newsletter form is optional. You do not need to subscribe to read the website. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in ordinary enquiries.

How we use information

We use newsletter details to manage subscriptions and send SOILSTICE updates. Newsletter subscriptions are based on your consent. We use correspondence to respond to enquiries and administer project communications. Where applicable, this processing relies on our legitimate interest in communicating about the project and responding to requests.

Technical information, such as IP addresses, requested pages and browser details, may be processed by hosting and service providers to deliver the website, troubleshoot problems and protect their services.

Newsletter and HubSpot

Our subscription form is provided by HubSpot. Opening the newsletter window loads the form from HubSpot’s servers; submitting it sends your information to that service for subscription management. Loading the form also involves technical requests from your browser.

Information about HubSpot’s privacy practices and processing terms is available in its Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. Service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area; their terms describe the relevant arrangements and transfer safeguards.

Website fonts

We use Adobe Fonts to display the site’s typography. Your browser connects to Adobe to retrieve these fonts. Adobe states that its website font service receives your IP address to deliver the files but does not store it, and does not set cookies to serve fonts. It also processes information about font delivery and usage. See the Adobe Fonts privacy information.

Google Analytics

If you accept statistics cookies, we use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-GMZ6LP6LKG) to understand visits, pages viewed and interactions with this website. Google receives technical information such as browser and device details and the pages visited. Analytics cookies, including _ga and _ga_* cookies, help distinguish visits. Their configured lifetime is 180 days and may renew during use.

This processing is based on your consent. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded before acceptance or when you decline. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Google may process information outside the European Economic Area. Cookies and browser storage

Choose “Accept” or “Decline” in the cookie notice to enable or refuse Google Analytics. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage for 180 days. You can change it at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Declining after acceptance stops analytics, removes its accessible first-party cookies and reloads the page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.

This choice concerns website statistics; it does not subscribe you to the newsletter. The HubSpot form loads separately when you open the newsletter window, as described above. You can also manage cookies and clear saved website data through your browser settings. Clearing your saved choice makes the notice appear again.

Retention and security

Information is kept according to the purpose for which it was collected and any applicable obligations. You can request details about retention or ask us to delete information using the contact below. We use HTTPS for the site’s API and embedded form connections; no online service can eliminate every security risk.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, the GDPR gives you rights to access and correct personal information, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, and receive certain data in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

To stop newsletter communications, use the unsubscribe option in the emails or contact us. For other requests, write to privacy@revolve.media. The data protection contact listed by REVOLVE is dpo@revolve.media.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, including in the EU country where you live or work. The European Commission explains these rights.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the website or its use of personal information changes. If you have a concern about information supplied by a child or another person, please contact us so it can be reviewed.
